Join us this year as we celebrate going through 2024 in gratitude to God for His grace, mercy and faithfulness.
Our Charity event which we call ‘Community Charity Giving’ to support those in need within our town and share among ourselves supporting one another in accordance with Acts 2: 45 that says “…they had all things in common.” and in adherence to Christ’s message to be charitable to those in need as in Matthew 25: 34-40 and by the Apostle James as ‘faith with works’ (James 2: 14-17).
This would be a bi-monthly event going forward.
God Sets the Solitary In Families – GOSSIF
CBF is a Christian family where the love of God is demonstrated not just within the family but also on to those outside where there is an open invitation for everyone to share in the joy of living, and the abundance of life that our Lord Jesus Christ has made available to us. The love of Christ, the joy and abundant life in CBF is shared through the GOSSIF initiative. The acronym GOSSIF represents a scripture in the book of Psalms: “God Sets the Solitary In Families (Psalm 68:6)”. In CBF we believe that everyone should belong to a family where love is shared and where life is lived in full and filled with joy in Jesus Christ. In the family of God which we are, we rejoice together, sorrow together, tackle the challenges of life and celebrate victories together.
Under the umbrella of GOSSIF, members of CBF meets together bi-monthly outside of the Church environment for various social and recreational activities which includes, attending Christian festivals and events, and also dinning together in restaurants that represents different cultures around the world to appreciate diversities of culinary dishes. The GOSSIF initiative cuts across denominational boundaries. This is an open invitation extended to all true Christians to come together, share and enjoy all the goodness of God.
Used to be called the 'Big Church Day Out' pre-covid. This is an annual event where Christians from all over the Country gather together for a time of Celebration and Worship.
We call it the Christian's Glastonbury.
